THE ORIGINS
The story of Fiducia S.r.l. It begins in Parma in the 1950s, when Giovanni Fiducia, together with his wife Mina, began to recover scrap metal in a basement in Borgo delle Colonne.
An artisanal activity, made of passion and brain, which over time transformed into a business: first with the opening of warehouses in Stradello San Girolamo and Via Mantova, then with the permanent move to the S.P.I.P. industrial area, where the company is still based today.
GROWTH
The 1980s marked the beginning of a new phase with the arrival of his son, Gianluca Fiducia, who took over the helm of the company in the 1990s, leading it along a path of constant growth. Fiducia S.r.l. thus went from being a family business to a leading operator in the recovery and trade of scrap metal in Emilia-Romagna and Northern Italy.
A DESTINY IN THE NAME
The new management offices were inaugurated in 2007: a modern, transparent, and bright building, designed to reflect the company’s vision: innovation, efficiency, and openness to the future, but above all, an honest and direct approach to suppliers and customers, almost as if to underscore a destiny already implicit in its name.
Today, with the entry into the company of the third generation represented by Giovanni, grandson and namesake of the founder, the story continues with the same spirit as always: giving new life to metals, with expertise, ethics, and an open, forward-looking vision.

In 2025, Fiducia S.r.l. further strengthens its commitment to sustainability and innovation, achieving recognition as a certified B Corp company and expanding its collaborations with businesses and local communities with a view to a circular economy.
An evolution that looks forward without forgetting its roots: those of a company born from recovery, grown through hard work, and projected into the future with the same determination as always.

A modern factory, to enhance the materials
The Fiducia S.r.l. facility, located in the S.P.I.P. industrial district of Parma, is now a state-of-the-art operations center for scrap metal processing.
The area includes a large area for material storage, as well as modern and functional offices, designed to promote transparency and integrated work. The facility is equipped with up-to-date and specific equipment to ensure a safe, high-performance operating cycle that complies with environmental regulations.Handling and material treatment

Each phase is designed to optimize time, safety, and traceability.
Means of transport and internal logistics
The company has a fleet of authorized vehicles for the collection and transport of materials, consisting of:
- 3 roll-off trucks with spiders for loading and unloading scrap
- tractor truck for transporting materials
- trailer trucks with rear tipping bodies
- closed vans
All vehicles are suitable for waste transport and integrated with the plant's operating system to ensure efficiency and continuity of management.

ISO 45001 certifies the adoption of an occupational health and safety management system, which aims to prevent accidents, protect workers, and promote safer and more sustainable work environments.

A concrete example is its membership in the Ecodistrict of the S.P.I.P. neighborhood of Parma, an environmental and functional redevelopment project for the industrial area, designed to improve the sustainability and quality of production spaces.
As a testament to this commitment, the company is also a member of the Gruppo Imprese Artigiane (GIA) and participated in the creation of the Bosco GIA, an ecological and educational oasis accessible to school groups and visitors.
The space is home to a rich variety of native plants and represents a natural refuge for various bird species, thanks also to the presence of an adjacent lake.
