Why we believe in waste

Why we believe in waste

In a world increasingly moving towards a circular economy, scrap metal recycling is an effective pillar for reducing the environmental impact of industry.

Recovering and transforming existing metals allows for energy savings of up to 74% compared to production from raw materials and reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 1.5 tons for every ton of recycled metal. Metal that reaches the end of its life is no longer waste but a precious resource that can be re-entered into new production cycles.

This approach reduces the need to extract new resources, protects the environment, and creates value for the supply chain. Indeed, the global metal recycling market is growing rapidly: it is estimated to grow from $1.58 billion in 2023 to over $2.4 billion by 2032 thanks to electric mobility, sustainable construction, and renewable energy. Our challenges are our driving force: increasing the quality and quantity of collected materials, making recycling processes increasingly efficient, and optimizing the energy used, focusing on renewable sources. This is where our work lies.
